The third quarter was a busy one for news in the media industry, as players large and small continued to develop and acquire capabilities across multiple business models. We are seeing a premium on companies that not only drive multiple revenue streams but also those that manage their internal KPI’s tightly as one of their core strengths. Importantly, we were also reminded that as important as it is to managing KPIs tightly, it is equally important to present them honestly.
