The Seller
C&P Press, Inc., compiles and publishes four comprehensive reference directories, CD-ROMs and online databases providing crop and plant protection information. C&P was formed in 1984 as the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Publishing Company and – under a joint arrangement with John Wiley & Sons – published the first edition of Crop Protection Chemicals Reference (CPR), commonly known in the trade as the Green Book. Based in New York City, C&P is a wholly owned American subsidiary of Aprovia, the leading publisher of B2B magazines (52 titles) and trade shows (104 events) headquartered in Paris. Aprovia is owned by three private equity firms – Cinven, Apax Partners and Carlyle Group Partners – and serves the French and European agriculture markets through its Groupe France Agricole unit.

Started in 1937 and based in Lincolnshire, IL, Vance Publishing Corporation owns a collection of 26 publications which serve the following industries: livestock, crops, fresh produce, floral, decor, retail, industrial and salon.
